Documentation: All Handled By TCI And Their Freight Agents
 
Bill of Lading
A document issued by a carrier to a shipper, signed by the captain, agent, or owner of a vessel, furnishing written evidence regarding receipt of the goods, the conditions on which transportation is made, and the engagement to deliver goods at the prescribed port of destination to the lawful holder of the bill of lading.
 
Marine Bill of Lading
There are 3 originals and 3 copies issued from the Hong Kong agent to the Euro freight agent which allows the carrier to release the goods at the destination while the House B/L goes through the bank. Marine B/L are entitlement to the goods.
 
House Bill of Lading
This is issued in accordance with the L/C requirements, (i.e. if there is no L/C there is no need for a House B/L).
 
Airway Bill
A shipping document used by the airlines for airfreight. It is a contract for carriage that includes carrier conditions of carriage including such items as limits of liability and claims procedures. The airway bill also contains shipping instructions to airlines, descriptions of the commodity and applicable transportation charges.
